About this house sitting position in Oakham

We have two neighbouring houses that need to be looked after. The house sitter would stay in our main residence, No. 20, while also keeping an eye on No. 18, which is currently on the market. Both properties have good-sized gardens that will require routine maintenance, including mowing the lawn and weeding.
No. 18 is unfurnished but should be checked regularly and may occasionally need to be cleaned and prepared for prospective buyers to view. We are hopeful that it will be sold by September. At No. 20, there is also a collection of houseplants that will simply need regular watering.
The houses are situated on a very quiet residential road, just a five-minute walk from the centre of Oakham. There is ample parking, and the location offers excellent access to beautiful countryside walks and quiet country roads that are ideal for cycling. Rutland Water is only a five-minute drive away, offering scenic walking and cycling routes, a range of water sports, and some of the country's finest birdwatching opportunities.
