About this house sitting position in Penrith
I live in a cottage in a small village in LDNP. In the attached picture, my dogs are the two collies at the front (the others are various visitors!) I also have two cats. Both dogs and cats are now at an age when they would be better looked after in their own homes. One collie is reactive to other dogs so prefer somebody experienced.

“A lovely cottage in a nice village at the edge of the Lake District.
We sat for her for a couple of days earlier in the year.
It was a joy to look after Finlay the Collie (sadly Fergus, is no longer with us), Finlay enjoyed our company. and loved his walks, as did we, and Lilley and Bob (the cats) were friendly (and very affectionate when they get to know you). We arrived in the afternoon of the day before Jane was due to depart, and she made a lovely dinner for us. We spent the evening chatting in front of the welcoming log burning fire.
Jane returned the evening before we left, allowing us to have a leisurely breakfast the following morning before we departed.
We hope to sit for Jane in the future, and would recommend this house sit to others.” - Read more
