About this house sitting position in Romsey
A large semi-detached 1930s home in a rural part of Hampshire, in the Test Valley. Woodland and farmland behind the property and a river to the front, sitting at the edge of the village. National Trust property, country walks, cycle paths and The New Forest all nearby. Village pub at end of road (1/4 mile away), along with regional railway line. Nearest town (Romsey) 5 miles away. Equidistant to Winchester, Salisbury and Southampton (~14 miles). Own transport recommended.
Duties include looking after one 12 year old cat, Missy, replacing cat flap batteries and a weekly watering of a couple of indoor plants. Missy is very easy to look after. She is a bit nervous but does like company (we work from home every day) and some interaction each day, as well as feeding 2-3 times a day, plus some treats!
