About this house sitting position in Royston, Hertfordshire

Hi! We have a beautiful 5 bedroom home in the countryside with lots of wonderful walks and brilliant country pubs on our doorstep. We are between 15/20 minutes from Cambridge (in a tiny village SG8) so great for exploring.

Whilst away we would need:

Our dog Elsie to have lots of cuddles and at least one walk daily. We would prefer you to be comfortable with large breed dogs as she is roughly 30kg very gentle but can pull on the lead if she sees another dog.

Our four cats (Betty, Percy, Eugene and Ethel) require feeding twice a day and their litter tray cleaning. We also have a foster cat Queenie who may still be with us if not rehomed by then.

Our chickens to be locked away each evening, let out in the mornings, eggs collected (and enjoyed!) fed a few treats such as cabbages etc and poo pick in their house every other day (throw into the compost heap, very low maintenance!)

We also have a beautiful very talkative budgie Timmy and a Kakariki in an aviary who will need regular top ups of food and daily fresh water and a tiny bit of fresh veg/fruit. Timmy loves kisses and tickles so any love would be appreciated!

We would also need the garden and greenhouse watered and cared for.

We may take our dog with us so she may not me a resident whilst you are here! Read more...
