About this house sitting position in Ruishton
We are a semi retired couple who have just come back home to Somerset after 14 years in New Zealand. Phil has been a teacher and deputy head teacher for nearly 20 years both in the UK and New Zealand and Anthony is an ex police officer of over 14 years.
We live in a small 2 bedroomed house with our beautiful English Pointer x Labrador dog, Lola, (yes, very biased!) who is coming up to 7 years old
We have a lovely low maintenence wraparound garden, with a couple of veg beds, a courtyard back garden with hanging baskets which would need the occasional water if we actually get a summer.
Lola loves her twice daily walks and there are plenty of walking tracks around the area. We have multiple countryside walks near us, as well as the canal and River Tone on our doorstep. We are surrounded by the stunning Blackdown Hills and Quantocks, so if you like walking and exploring this is the place to be! She is obedient, knows road safety (sits by the kerb until you tell her to cross) and is very well behaved.
