Hi there, I’m looking for a trustworthy, non-smoker to house and pet sit for me while I’m away for 2 weeks. From 15th December 2020 until 29th December 2020.
It’s essential you are able to live at my house for the whole duration.
We live in a beautiful little village called Sheepscombe in Gloucestershire. Our house backs directly into woodlands, no roads to cross, just straight into the woods. We have a large garden and a paddock. We do have a lot of animals that would need to be taken care of. Not overly time consuming at all though.
I have 3 dogs (one very elderly - 2 energetic) 3 cats, 2 rabbits (totally free range), 9 guinea pigs (they are in large semi-free range pens so no cleaning out required for the duration I'm away - just bedding added) & 4 chickens.
Stroud is the nearest small town - 4 miles away. If you like to walk it's a beautiful scenic walk through the valley down into Stroud. There are many other little villages near me to visit including Painswick, Nailsworth, Tetbury and Cirencester to name a few.
The Cotswolds are beautiful & there are lots of lovely places to walk if you are interested in getting out & about.
I have a large 4/5 bedroom house which is not conventional. We have a very large kitchen & other recreational rooms. The lounge is fairly large with a log burner. The bedrooms are en-suite.
The cats & dogs live inside & everyone else is outside.
I do have a routine with the animals that would need to be stuck to within reason.
All the animals are friendly & they all get on with each other (apart from the 2 younger dogs & guinea pigs).
If you think you would enjoy staying at my house then please contact me. :)
