VERY SMALL house. (One long room,mezzanine bedroom, toilet and shower) in beautiful spot, Brecon Beacons National Park. Up a steep hill, one and a half miles to village with shop, pubs. 6 miles Brecon town.
Need careful care for Tim my elderly dog (16). Still quite fit physically but blind and almost deaf. Very good natured. Just needs his meals on time, a 30-40 minute daily walk, visit the garden morning and last thing at night and a bit of affectionate treatment in between.
I also have two guinea pigs who like to be put into an outside run if the weather is fine. They only need to be fed once a day but must be shut in securely in their main house early evening.
The most important thing is that you are someone who will be loving and patient with Tim. You must be willing to take the responsibility of taking him to the vet to be put to sleep if he suddenly has a stroke or similar. (No sign of it so far and he was fine at his recent check up; but at this age and being realisitic he could suddenly become ill at any time, in which case I would not want to try to prolong his life)
My home is charming, rustic and VERY small. It is rented. I must have very reliable and honest tenants. My landlords are on site but it is quite private.
The bed is a futon, low level, and very hard! I do not notice this any more but you might! So if that will bother you, do not apply.
There is WIFI, TV and a washing machine in a seperate building.
There are endless lovely walks and bike rides from the doorstep. Leisure centre, cinema, etc, in Brecon.
Sorry you can't bring any pets-the place is too small.
The July dates are for a holiday I have already booked.
