About this house sitting position in Tavistock
Hello, we are Mike and Sophia. We live in Dartmoor, Devon and have 40 acres. We run a holiday cottage business and Sophia backs and sells Connemara ponies. We need a sitter to look after our young Cocker Spaniel, Cat, Ducks and Chickens and check on our horses. Experience with horses is necessary.
The House is detached and situated within 40 acres. There is also a 3 bed holiday cottage located within the grounds.
There are stunning views of Dartmoor all around. We have a large Dutch Barn which houses our horses.
Sitters would be staying in the main house. We have a large guest bedroom with Super King sized bed. There is a bathroom with large bath and shower.
There are 40 acres to explore with rivers and brooks. The property is perfectly situated for hiking on Dartmoor. Tavistock is the nearest town and has an abundance of cafes and restaurants as well as a Pannier/Farmers market. There are plenty of good old English pubs nearby. A car is a must as there is no public transport nearby.
We are close the boarder with Cornwall. There are some stunning coastlines and beaches here.
