About this house sitting position in Uppingham

Hi,
We are off to NZ over Christmas (fly out Wednesday 4th December and back Wednesday 1st January)and are looking for a kind, reliable person (or couple) with bags of common sense to care for our three small dogs and a few bantams! We live in the idyllic market town of Uppingham in Rutland which is absolutely magical at Christmas time and we will be sorry to miss it (but not that sorry!). Our house is a rustic 17th century iron stone listed cottage with a log burner and an open fire, (and central heating!) full of character and very cosy. We have a small garden to the front and a shared courtyard at the back. Uppingham is fairly rural and we have lovely walks on our doorstep. Pretty good bus links to the larger cities like Leicester and Peterborough and also to the historic Georgian town of Stamford. Keeping you company would be Ottie (pug X), Tulip (French Bulldog) and her daughter Sylvie. They would all need a walk both morning and late afternoon. They are lovely natured dogs who enjoy company and will join you in the evening toasting themselves in front of the fire! They are the main reason we need to find sitters suitable who love dogs and will enjoy looking after them. They do however all suffer from "small dog syndrome " and can be quite yappy with other dogs out on walks, but if your used to dogs it's not an issue!! In terms of any other duties there isn't much really apart from feeding and watering the hens and just looking after things as we would if we were here.
