About this house sitting position in Ware

*TO NOTE: WE ARE NOW LOOKING FOR A SITTER OVER THE CHRISTMAS PERIOD!*

We have a beautiful home set in rolling countryside, with our plot surrounded by fields. There are endless footpaths on our doorstep that take you on some fantastic walks, some longer ones ending up at wonderful country pubs!

We have quite the mini farm going here - three chickens, two goats and a hamster! They are all family pets and utterly adored (and very friendly) so whoever comes to our rural idyll will truly get a taste of the good life.

The house is very low maintenance but the animals would need tending, but this is really straightforward and very rewarding.

The hamster needs feeding every other day, the chickens need clean water and feed every morning and otherwise sort themselves out.

The goats need hay, feed and water every day, and also lots of love! They are still babies so this is essential as we are making them as friendly as possible for our children. So at least twice daily cuddles would be ideal!

You do not need to have previous experience - we certainly didn't!

The garden has fairly established borders and we are not green fingered at all - so people would be more than welcome to get stuck in! Alternatively you could be as hands off as you wish as we have a gardener.

Our home is a quaint bungalow with a master bedroom and en-suite. It's extremely low maintenance and incredibly cosy. There is a log burner should you wish to use it.

While you would need a car to get here as public transport is limited, if you do decide to venture out and explore the area you won't be disappointed.

There are endless things to do in the area and the local small towns of Hertford and Ware are both on the river and a lovely spot to mooch and grab a coffee while watching the world go by!
