About this house sitting position in Westbury

Do you know how to light a woodburning stove (we have 3) and look after cats ( 5 tabbies)? If so, you're just the person we need! We live in a large four bed converted barn with land and outbuildings at the end of a lane in a small rural community. The nearest shop is 3 1/2 miles away, no public transport, so own car essential. The location is fairly idyllic and the peace and quite very restful.
Bath, a World Heritage site, is 30 minutes away, as is Stonehenge. Trowbridge is 6 miles away with supermarkets, garages, cinema and hospital, and we are close to Frome (regularly featured in the top 10 places to live in England). Definitely the best of both worlds!
The property has Broadband, central heating etc and an Aga. As it will be winter, there would not be much to do in the garden, but there would be some produce to use, eg leeks, parsnips. Wood for the fires is ready for use, you just have to bring it into the house.
The cats are fairly old, but independent, and need to be fed twice a day and given the occasional cuddle.
This position would probably suit a couple who enjoy rural living and curling up with a good book on dark winter nights in front of a roaring fire. Read more...
