About this house sitting position in Whitley
EMERGENCY PET SIT!
I have two lurchers and am looking for a pet sitter for Christmas as we are going up to Scotland where my family are and I unfortunately can’t take the dogs with me.
My house is in a village location. It is detached with a large garden. It is about 12 miles from Bath and about 3 miles from the National Trust village of Lacock. There are several sites of interest in the local and extended area. There are two cinemas each about 20 minutes away, as well as several superstores close by. There is a bus service to Bath which conveniently stops outside the house.
The dogs are fairly easy and low maintenance, needing one good walk a day, the rest of the time they are typical lurchers and are generally couch potatoes. They walk nicely on the lead but can react to seeing other dogs so you have to be able to distract them with treats or toys. They are not aggressive, though it sounds like it, one sparks the other and it sounds intimidating. There are several walks in the area and they are good in a car if you want to go further.
