House sitting for Emma and Tim was a wonderful experience. It was a privilege to stay in their historic homestead in such a beautiful setting. It really is a stunning place, and one of the highlights of our visit to the UK. The two dogs left for us to care for were a delight - so well mannered and great companions for the duration of our stay. The cats were real characters too, often joining us on our morning and evening walks of the property. We enjoyed grooming and caring for the horses, and appreciated the fresh farm eggs from the chickens. Emma and Tim were extremely warm and generous in their hospitality, and communication was great both before and during our stay. Emma left a very helpful set of instructions and information. We were car-less but managed well with the bus service into Witham (there is a bus stop at the end of the driveway) and walking to the local Silver End supermarket for provisions. We would happily return and highly recommend to other sitters

Fabulous couple, instructions, property and animals (feathered & four legged). One of best experiences during my 18 months in UK. Thoroughly recommended
