We are Sabrina (29 y, Germany) and Rafael (33y, Lisbon) living in sunny Portugal. I work remotely for a German Tech Sales company. Rafa is a professional diver and works seasonally.

We both grew up in small villages surrounded by animals and having cats & dogs in our families. We started housesitting earlier this year and have been enjoying it a lot so far.

We love the idea of being able to travel to a place, staying there and in exchange taking care of your animals and home. For us that's the perfect balance of giving & taking!

It's rather the giving part tho. We both love helping people and being altruistic. I guess I don't have to mention that we're an animal lovers;).

With housesitting comes great responsibility. We do take our tasks very serious and you can definitely rely on us 100%. Entrusting your precious animals and home to strangers is not the easiest thing. You want them to care for your pets and home like its their own. I can assure you we will do so!
I grew up with the principle to always take good care of my stuff and even take better care of the stuff that doesn't belong to me.
I have light ocd - so for sure your house/apartment will be at least as tidy and clean as you left it ;).

When it comes to your beloved animals - we will make sure that all their needs will be fulfilled during the stay. Feeding and giving them medicine on time - if needed - goes without asking. We will give them as much love and cuddles as they need and onlyif they want ofc ;). Since we're both highly empathetic we will understand and feel what your pet will need or what it won't.
With us they'll not only have a loving cuddle buddy while you're gone but they also will find an amazing play buddy. We're super active persons - so for sure there'll be no boredom!

Oh and I do love plants - so if your home and/or garden is full of them I will take good care of them as well. Read more...
