WE ARE GOING TO BE TAKING TIME OFF THE BEGINNING OF 2019 DUE TO ILL HEALTH AND NEEDING WEEKLY TREATMENT FOR A FEW MONTHS. WE WILL HOWEVER BE BACK HOUSESITTING AFTERWARDS AND LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ALL AGAIN IN 2019.

Hi we are Babs and Steve, a retired mature non smoking married couple who just love all creatures great and small.
Steve is a retired police officer and Babs is a retired prison officer.
Because of our passion and love of dogs Babs after retiring from the prison service started up a pet sitting/dog walking/housesitting business, this included training dogs using many gained skills from working with the drug dogs within the prison service. She also has worked with many dogs with behaviour and anxiety issues in which Babs prided herself on solving many problems with these dogs that other behaviourists had sadly written off.
Babs has yrs of equestrian experience working in racing yards in her youth and has owned several horses of her own jumping and competing at many shows and cross country events. Although I don’t ride to often these days to be truthful but am always open to getting back in the saddle. ?

We are lucky enough at this early stage in our lives to be able to retire and live in beautiful Cornwall which we both adore walking on the many beautiful beaches here.

We both drive so travelling or being in a remote area at any property we look after is not a concern to us.

We are looking to continue house sitting in our retirement and are happy to look after any pets, especially dogs and Cats, as we do have a love for the furry kids.

- We assure you that your pets will have plenty of attention and loving company whilst you are away.
Housesitting duties will inc keeping your home clean and tidy of all area we have used, we are also happy to cut the grass and water the garden/Green House if you require us to do.
Bathing grooming and nail clipping are available if required for your pets.

We already have many regular clients that we do housesitting for who are more than happy to vouch for us as experienced house-sitters. We ourselves feel truly blessed by the kind statements that previous clients have written about the care of their pets and the clean home that they have come back to.

We do charge a daily fee for housesitting mainly to cover our costs with travel etc. I personally wouldn’t like anyone coming to look after my home and not be paid for it. We think our fees are reasonable (to be discussed) as kennel and cattery fees are expensive and we can offer you a cheaper option giving you security in your home to.
This is a set fee so if you have a zoo the fee will be the same as if we were looking after one dog or cat, you will benefit from two experienced security conscious and a 100 percent trustworthy couple who will look after your home as if it was ours, this guarantees you peace of mind when you are away that your pets and home will be cared for with the utmost respect from us with loads of cuddles for your much loved pets.

Would just like to say a massive thank you to Babs for taking such good care of my 2 babies (and house) last week. It always makes our holiday so much more relaxing and enjoyable knowing they are being so well looked after and seeing that they are having such fun too in your video clips. Just to say a huge thank you to Babs for taking such good care of my mad Lab Bodie. I knew my Lab wouldn't like going into kennels whilst we were away so someone recommended Babs to me. We went to meet her before hand and even though Bodie showed his true colours and was totally hyper Babs was happy (mad enough) to take him during our two week break. She always replies promptly and kept us updated with messages, photos and video clips whilst we were away. Bodie had a thoroughly good time and was treated as part of the family. In fact he enjoyed it that much he sulked for about a week when we took him home ......a true sign that he'd had a great time. Thanks again Babs x

Everyone should know that Barbara is friendly, reliable and trustworthy with a real affinity with dogs.
It's no understatement that she has changed our lives!
We have a very nervous dog who was so from a puppy. After several visits from behaviourists we were advised to consider whether we should keep her with our young children as they all believed she would not be able to socialise. I had no worries that my pup was safe with my children, but it did concern me that walks were so traumatic for her. One visit from Barbara and they were best friends. Barbara was so confident that she would be able to socialise her, I just had to let her try. We are a fair way down the road now and I am still amazed how she is with Barbara. She trusts Barbara and accepts every dog Barbara introduces her to and absolutely loves running free off lead playing with them all. I am also so much more relaxed when walking her and it saddens me to think how her life could have been so different if I hadn't found Barbara.
Barbara showers every animal in her care with love and attention. I highly recommend Barbara and Thank her for all she has done for us. Love Sharon. Socks and Daisy.

Cannot recommend Babs enough for house sitting whilst we were away. She looked after our dog, cat, rabbits, degu and chickens beautifully. Plus the house was 10 times cleaner when we returned than when we left. We wouldn't even consider using anyone else. Our dog is now sulking because she left! Love Hannah x Read more...
