We are passionate about life and best friends, Nurcan & Barbara travelling together sometimes. I am a yoga teacher, traveller, trekker, Barbara is a psychologist, Latin dancer, watersports lover and massage therapist. We appreciate nature, animals, real, kind connections between people. We love animals, adventure, dance, swim and walk through forests and beaches.
In our life, we travelled a lot and meet new people, friends, cultures and places.

Why do we want to house sit?

House sitting it's a very interesting idea. It's exchanging goods in a really kind way. I can do something that will help you and makes your life easier and for me, it's perfect because I can meet new people, animals, places.

From Chiara: Barbara and Nurcan sitter for me for 4 days recently and was very reliable and communicative. Barbara and Nurcan sent lots of updates and photos of the cats and was very respectful of the apartment. When I got home, they had kindly cleaned the apartment for my return and even left me some homemade soup 🙂 Most importantly, the cats were very happy and relaxed. Barbara and Nurcan were very helpful particularly with Simba as he can get a bit dirty due to his long fur! She washed him and groomed them both every day. I am already inviting Barbara and Nurcan back to sit again next month and would highly recommend it! Nurcan & Barbara is also a pleasure to talk to and keep in touch with and is very positive and happy in nature 🙂

From Avril: Barbara communicated well with us before the house sit started and was keen to understand what was needed. She kept us in touch while were away and our cat Millie was happy and well cared for on our return.
Barbara was well organised about sorting out the large amounts of mail we receive and was open about a minor damage issue....this makes me feel more trusting than if someone tries to hide something.
She asked permission to have a few friends over for the evening on New Years Eve, which was a nice thing, (permission gladly given in our case). The house was clean and tidy on our return. All this made our extended trip very trouble-free and I am sure Barbara would make an excellent house sitter for anyone in future.
