I like to keep myself active and usually spend a lot of my free time out and about walking and enjoying the sites around my home town.
I have always had a dog in my life until I got divorced when I found myself living on my own, but since then have helped my 2 daughters look after theirs.
I am semi retired now having worked as a nurse since leaving school at 16. I work 2 days a week on the Children's department at my local NHS hospital.
I have 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren and love to spend time with them whether it be supporting them at their chosen sports or going out for days out usually visiting national trust sites in and around the North East.
I enjoy cooking and a variety of crafts.
