Hello! We are Carly and Blake; a global pet and home sitting team whose home-base is on a large island in Northern Ontario, Canada. We are first and foremost, animal and nature lovers. We immensely enjoy establishing a loving bond with animals and gaining their trust and love. We strive to give pets a stay-cation while their owners are away; with much love, cuddles, play, and outdoor walks and activities! Whether we are caring for your pets and home, or home only, we are always respectful, quiet and clean, and only want the best for your home and pets. We will adapt to the animal’s regular schedule for walks, bathing, medical care, etc. We also enjoy special activities if the animal enjoys things like swimming or going to special outdoor areas as we are lovers of the outdoors!

Blake: Blake grew up in the Greater Toronto area with animals all around him. From his Father’s Golden Retriever Abigail, who couldn’t get enough of swimming and outdoor adventures, to his Mother’s three cats, two dogs, and a potbelly pig! (plus or minus a few more!). Where Blake now lives, he has been the go-to cat-sitter for a couple who each have 2 cats. Blake has taken care of these cats numerous times in their own home; making sure they get plenty of love, food, water, and a clean litterbox while their owners are away; for a few days to up to a few weeks at a time.

Carly: Carly grew up in Northern Ontario, but lived in Europe (mainly the Netherlands, and Portugal for a short period) for about 8 years. While there, she started walking two small dogs twice a week, and upon returning to Canada in 2020, she regularly walked shelter dogs for about 2 years (often for 2-3 hours at a time – she wanted to walk them all!) and fostered a dog. She has a lot of dog handling experience with dogs of various sizes and behavioural issues. Carly has experience dog and cat sitting for different family friends in their homes for days to weeks at a time.

We have experience with:

- Off-grid living (present home)
- Living and travelling abroad and within Canada
- Rescue dogs and behavioural issues
- Administering/applying medication to dogs
- Gardening and plant care
- Short term and long-term (~3 months) pet sitting

About us and things we enjoy:

- Fluid lifestyle and adventurous spirits!
- Clean and tidy – we like to keep a clean home environment
- Vegan diet
- Swimming, including cold water swimming!
- Work remotely
- Patient with much compassion and love for animals
- Gardening and plants
- Do not own a vehicle, so would need to be able to walk, take public transit, or borrow your vehicle if this is something you would be open to. Carly has a full (G) Ontario, Canada drivers licence.
