Hello. I am 68 years old and retired from a career in social work and criminal justice work 4 years ago. Very fond of animals, the outdoors, and have various hobbies including DIY, gardening, record collecting, and rare books. I tend to like a quiet life but remain very active as well. Sociable and personable and would certainly not upset and neighbours! I came to this from minding and empty property for a family member and was then asked by a neighbour of that property if I would mind their house as well. As I have not travelled much in my previous life and I enjoyed being temporarily in a new area and the opportunities that offered to see different things, but enjoy my evenings quietly with crosswords and old books. I am quite capable of dealing with any problem that might occur with a property should a problem arise. My expenses will only be for my travel to and from a property, and any neccessary purchase connected with the property, e.g light bulbs and similar domestic items.
