Here is about myself, but do not hesitate to contact me for further information. I am a graphic designer that has worked for the United Nations and now I will be starting to work for a new company based in Guildford. I am based in Abingdon, but I can travel almost anywhere (now given covid I'd rather complete housesits within the UK, where I am a resident). I am a tidy, active, non-smoker and with a practical oriented mindset (so I can manage to fix , for instance, the odd electric cut that may happen at your house - hopefully not!). I have my own car, so I can reach your place very easily. In my spare time, I love reading, and helping with different international development projects in Vietnam and Italy for instance (all from the comfort of my house thanks to covid), but mostly I love taking breaks with pets (walking, petting, playing with them - pets give me so much joy)! I have owned pets my whole life (many wonderful dogs) while growing up in Italy, and my sister has owned many cats - so I have experience in taking care of cats (and be their servants ;).

I have completed many sits on this platform with great reviews, expexially on Trused House Sitter.
I have plenty of experience in giving extra TLC to rescue, or with some anxious behaviours - it gives me joy that all the rescue pets I have owned/ petsat for, while anxious at the beginning, they soon settle with me. I am confident in giving pets medicines and in following their routines/ rules around the house they may have. I miss having pets around - since I moved to the UK I greatly missed having pets of my own and It think petsitting and housesitting would be a win-win situation. I love how pets give me a solid routine- it's so rewarding to be able to take care of some furry animals while all the work interactions are almost online due to covid. I also love traveling so housesitting is perfect for me to live like a local and see where I want to settle down! I would treat your house as I would treat my own and leave it tidy when you come back. I also own a family holiday house in Sardinia (a beautiful mediterranean island), so if you ever wanted to pay a visit you'd be most welcome to.
