We are a 'mature' couple - I hate that phrase, however, it is a fact; we just don't feel like it! We have worked overseas in international education since 2010 and have returned to the UK this summer in August. Currently, I am a teacher coach, and David was a residential mentor although his professional past covers many different self-employed endeavours. We are highly resourceful, flexible and easygoing. As we worked in a school we both have enhanced criminal background checks that we are happy to share. We have family in the UK and a small house in France where we will base ourselves in between UK house-sitting engagements, meaning that we are very flexible if your plans change or we are needed at short notice. We prefer to be within a 2-2.5 hr journey to London and to have pet/house-sits of 3 weeks or longer, but we always have an open mind to what comes along - in house sitting and in life!
