About this house sitting position in Battersea / Clapham

Hi! We are looking for someone to live in our house and look after our long-haired cat, Nando, and our garden from 18/7/20 to 1/8/20. Nando likes company, but on his terms, so an understanding cat lover is sought. We also need someone who will be in the house for a few hours a day to keep him company and with references.

We have a spacious family house on a quiet road in the Northcote Road area of Battersea between Wandsworth and Clapham commons. The house is well-presented (but is most importantly a well-used family home) and very well-equipped with a large kitchen and a pretty, small garden. There is also a piano (clavinova) for the musically inclined, fast WiFi and a trampoline in the garden. It is convenient for Clapham South tube station (10 mins walk then 15 mins journey to central London), but also for overground at Clapham Junction (20 mins walk), Wandsworth Common station and Balham station (both around 15 mins). If you don’t know the area, it is a great place for going out with a massive choice of cafes, bars and restaurants ranging from casual to Michelin-starred. Shops are mainly boutiques and independent stores, with a few of the smaller chains also present, but several large supermarkets are easily accessible too. There are markets locally too. The area is very attractive with Victorian housing and lots of trees and green space. Clapham and Wandsworth Commons are on the doorstep and Tooting Common and Battersea Park are an easy cycle, bus or slightly longer walk away.

Nando is very low maintenance ad he comes and goes through his cat flap. No litter tray and only dry food.
